The Cheshire East Information Advice and Support (CEIAS) run several courses and information days throughout the year. We hold these days at different venues across the county at various times of the day. These sessions are Free to parents and carers. Upcoming events will be added to this page.

Cheshire East Information, Advice and Support Service are hosting a series of workshops aimed at parents/carers of children/young people with special educational and additional needs (SEND). The workshops will all be held in Sandbach Library’s upstairs meeting room. Places are limited so please book. To sign up for a place on these FREE workshops, please telephone 0300 123 5166 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or speak to a member of our team. We will need your name and a contact number if possible – in case of any last minutes changes. Refreshments will be available during the session. No lunch will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own if you wish.
Due to the refurbishments currently taking place in Sandbach Library, it has meant that we have had to rearrange the last two remaining parental workshops.
- The following workshop has been cancelled “Friday 5th February 2016 - 09:30-12:00 - Exclusions and Detentions for young people with a disability” this will now become part of a wider SEN event.
- Please note that this workshop has been rescheduled :“Autism strategies and tips for success at home and school”. This workshop will be led by Sue Scarle and Janet Threader from Cheshire East Autism Team.
- Please note the new date, venue and time – the workshop will now be on Friday 5th February 2016 - 09:30 registration for a 10am start -1:00 pm and will now be held in the Municipal Buildings, Crewe NOT Sandbach Library

Meet the professionals
Thank you to all of the parents who were able to attend the event on 8th July. The feedback received shows the event to be a success. We will hopefully run a similar event next year.
